He got an entire generation of women to start smoking by hiring models to light up cigarettes during a parade and calling them "torches of freedom." He helped overthrow a democratically elected government in Guatemala because a fruit company asked him to. A fruit company. He wrote a book literally called Propaganda and then rebranded the entire concept as "public relations" because even he knew the word propaganda was a tough sell. This man is the reason your toothpaste tastes like mint. That's not a joke. Look it up. If you've ever wondered why you want things you don't need and believe things nobody told you to believe, this is the guy who built that system. And nobody knows his name. Welcome to the show.
